Ukraine has announced the commencement of large-scale manufacturing for an innovative locally engineered defensive UAV to enhance its air defences. The first three producers have started manufacturing, with 11 more preparing to establish production lines, Ukrainian military officials announced this past Friday.

Advanced 'Octopus' System Proven in Combat Situations

These UAVs will be based on a domestically developed technology known as “Octopus” designed to neutralize Iranian-made drones. The system underwent testing in actual battle and proved effective “at night, amid electronic warfare and flying low,” officials stated.
